These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of products from Lily's Secret, a trading name of Lillys Secret Candle Message FZE LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Free Zone Establishment registered with the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority under commercial licence number 4430814.01, with its registered address at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our products

Lily's Secret creates bespoke, hand-poured candles that are personalised and made to order. Each candle hides a secret message set at the bottom of the glass, revealed as the flame burns down. Because every piece is handmade, small natural variations in colour, finish and scent strength are normal and are not defects.

2. Orders and acceptance

When you build a candle or send us a message through the website, you are making a request to order, not completing a purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order and the final details (fragrance, message, quantity, price and timing) with you directly. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example where the requested message is unlawful, offensive, or infringes someone's rights.

3. Personalisation and your secret message

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you ask us to personalise, including the spelling and wording of your secret message. Please confirm your message carefully — it is hand-set before the final pour and, once production has begun, it cannot be changed. We are not responsible for errors in the content you provide.

4. Pricing and payment

As every candle is bespoke, prices are quoted per order and confirmed before we begin. All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED). Where VAT applies, it will be shown before you confirm your order. Payment terms will be agreed with you at the time of confirmation. No payment is taken automatically through this website.

5. Delivery and collection

We deliver within the United Arab Emirates and offer collection in Dubai where available. Delivery and production timelines given to you are estimates and may vary for handmade, made-to-order items. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Because our products are personalised and made to your specification, they are generally exempt from change-of-mind returns under UAE consumer protection rules for customised goods. Full details, including how we handle damaged or incorrect items, are set out in our Returns & Cancellations Policy.

7. Candle care and safety

Candles must be used responsibly. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children, pets and flammable materials, place on a heat-resistant surface, and follow any care guidance provided. We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from misuse.

8. Intellectual property

The Lily's Secret name, wax-seal logo, designs, photography and website content are our property or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates together with the regulations of the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your order applies to that order.
